Halloween In The City, a week-long event in Manchester City Centre needed to encourage families and those who love Halloween to visit Manchester across Halloween weekend 2024. They needed to capture the attention of new audiences and convert those views into footfall in the city. This meant we needed to cut through the noise with content that engaged, retained and converted.

 

We worked with CityCo (Manchester Bid) to help them with their creative video content. Taking a social-first approach was essential as this is where most audiences would learn about their event. We also captured on the day content for the event.

The Standouts

We were able to generate 43K+ organic views across their social channels with the content we created, increased footfall by 30%+ compared to the previous weekend and helped encourage a quarter of million people in the city centre for the Halloween in the City event weekend during half term as well as deliver video edits including '5 Things to do over Halloween', 'Free things to do this Halloween', 

'Flick Through Videos' of the production, 'Halloween Weekend Itinerary'. On the day we also captured the vibe and attendees at the event - highlighting the best bits, the production and the city which could be turned into a 'Weekend Wrap-up Video', 'Day 1 Recap' and content that could be used for 2025.
