Backyard Cinema, a unique cinema experience event needed to market their new experience in Manchester. Their goal - encourage people to visit their cinema and create awareness of their event.
That’s where we came in. Working alongside Fever, we created a social media strategy and the content to go with it which would encourage new and existing customers to visit their tropical 80's inspired cinema at Depot Mayfield. We wanted to create some serious FOMO for the event... and we did just that!
The Strategy & Steps
Before creating content for Backyard Cinema, we wanted to understand more about the audiences on each platform. We conducted an audience analysis, diving into who uses their channels so we can create content that speaks to that audience!
Once we understood their audience, and USPs we could dive into our strategy. We decided that a mix of reels, images and posts would work best content wise. But we wanted to ensure we weren't selling the event - and that we were selling the experience!
We showed off their USPs by creating lo-fi content, with captions, trending audio, and copy which converts. Taking it one step further, we conducted on-site content shoots to capture what really mattered for the audience. Take a look below at some of the content we created!
